Cara dropped her teddy in the bath (we'll never know why). When she saw it on the washing line she was a bit distraught - she does love teddy.

Jonah, Cara and the tractor

Jonah has been taking Cara for a ride in his tractor. He waits for her to walk over and get in to the trailer, then he just cruises round the car parky area of our house - they both love it.

We decided YES.
Meriel went to Jersey yesterday for a kayaking trip and came back with this. It's a sit on top kayak (Islander Hula for those who care) which we can take to the beach and anyone can use. It's easy to paddle about but can also surf.
We took it to Vazon today and tried it in the small surf - it was fun:-) Even Jonah got to have a go. Modelled in this picture by Drew.

Try out Kayak day - Grand Rocques

Today we helped out at a try out day for people who want to go kayaking. The sun shone all day and there was an excellent turn out (I reckon about 60 or 70 people got to have a go). Even Lenny got to go in a kayak.
We're very temped to buy a sit on top kayak so that Lenny and anyone who visits can get out on the water (My kayak is very customised to my size). Even Jonah could have a go. Watch this space to see what we decide!

He's got a camera from his mum and dad and a tractor from his Grandma.
It's going to be a busy day.

Cara can now walk a decent distance (I think 58 steps is the record so far). She's also cornering quite well, which was a problem for her in the early days of walking. Now she just needs somewhere to walk to.
